Tours returning in coming months
Guided Tours - Mining and Rehabilitation Demonstration Pit (MRDP)
The next round of tours will give community members a firsthand look at the rehabilitation work underway at the demonstration pit.
More than 200 people came out to see GCM’s work in action during the mining stage of the trial. With backfilling complete and rehabilitation underway, we will soon be opening another round of tours so you can see how vegetation is establishing across the site.
By registering your interest, you will be notified via email once the next round of tours are confirmed. Each attendee must register individually.
For safety reasons, please note:
- All visitors must complete a safety induction before entering
- Children under the age of 14 are not permitted on site
- All visitors must wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt
- All visitors must be able to get on and off a bus and walk on unsealed surfaces
- Access is via guided tours only
