Gippsland Critical Minerals (GCM) held its fourth community webinar for 2026 on Wednesday 14 October.

The session provided an update on:

  • the demonstration pit, including footage from our time-lapse cameras, early learnings, and response to concerns raised around visible dust – with MRDP Lead Loretta Fallaw
  • the latest on community benefit sharing, upcoming ways to get involved, and future jobs and procurement opportunities – with East Gippsland Community and Stakeholder Lead Mick Harrington.
  • Q&A covering audience questions on project timeline and approvals, jobs and procurement, transport of HMC to port, and more.
